Dr. Simon Hümmrich-Welt, LL.M.


Dr. Simon Hümmrich-Welt is a criminal lawyer and focuses on business criminal law.

He was admitted to the bar in 2017 and joined our team in 2018. He started his career as a lawyer in Public Law in Munich but soon specialised in Criminal Law and worked as a defence lawyer in a specialised firm in Würzburg.

Simon studied law at the University of Regensburg and the Université Lumière in Lyon, France. After his first German state examination, he worked as a legal research assistant at the University of Regensburg. He earned a doctorate degree in public international law (“Responsibility to Rebuild”).

During his legal traineeship he did elective internships at a prestigious criminal law firm in Munich. After the second German state examination, Simon completed a master’s degree (Master of Laws, LL.M.) at the German University for Administrative Sciences in Speyer where he also worked as a research assistant. He spent considerable periods of time abroad before he qualified as a lawyer.

Simon advises in German, English and French.
